National Night Out Picnic

In honor of National Night Out an event that promotes neighborhood watches all over the country, the Lorain Police Department and the Neighborhood Watch Council are hosting a picnic on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Lakeview Beach at the big Gazebo from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Only those people who are participating in a block watch are invited. Everyone is asked to bring along a favorite dish and also the recipe to share with neighbors. Please RSVP by August 12, 2008 at ladalang@gmail.com. As an added bonus, after the event, we will be having a block watch party on Pole Ave, between 19th and 20th Street, blocking off the street and all neighbors are invited.
